Excursion Safari to Serval & Ngorongoro Crater

Day 01:

Depart from SEA/JFK/LAX for Doha.

DOHA

Day 02:

Arrive in Doha, where you will have an approximately 7-hour layover. Doha’s airport offers various services, with shops and restaurants open 24 hours a day.

DOHA/KILIMANJARO

Day 03:

Board your flight from Doha to Kilimanjaro at 1:55 a.m., arriving at Kilimanjaro Airport at 7:30 a.m. Please note that you must obtain your visa upon arrival, which costs $100 (cash only).
After clearing customs and immigration, your driver will meet you and take you to the Moshono
property for accommodation and an overnight stay.

SERVAL PARK AND THE BASE OF MT. KILIMANJARO

Day 05:

After breakfast, your tour guide will drive you to Serval Park, which is about an hour and a half from the Arusha Moshono property. Lunch boxes will be provided. This park allows you to interact with trained wildlife and feed giraffes, zebras, and other animals. You will also have the opportunity to photograph them. Afterward, your driver will take you back to the Moshono property for accommodation and dinner.

KARATU – NGORONGORO COFFEE LODGE

Day 06:

After breakfast, your tour guide will drive you to the Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge. Along the way, you will pass Lake Manyara Park and the Great Rift Valley, a significant site in human evolution. The Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge is an elegant accommodation near the Ngorongoro Crater, featuring spacious, well furnished, uniquely designed rooms and a lovely swimming pool. You will stay at this lodge for the night, with dinner and breakfast provided.

NGORONGORO CRATER – MAASAI VILLAGE – ARUSHA

Day 07:

After breakfast at the lodge, your driver will take you to the Ngorongoro Crater. You will descend to the crater’s floor, which is about 2,000 feet deep and 14 miles wide. The crater is home to a remarkable diversity of wildlife, including savannas, bushlands, forests, and lakes inhabited by elephants, lions, wildebeests, and more. There is even a soda lake that attracts flamingos. You will spend the day exploring the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that hosts nearly 25,000 animals, giving you an excellent chance to spot the “Big Five”: lion, elephant, endangered black rhino, buffalo, and leopard, along with countless other African mammals.

You will take a moment to stretch your legs and enjoy a picnic lunch at Ngoitokitok Springs while watching hippos jostle for position in the water. After visiting the Ngorongoro Crater, we have arranged a visit to a Maasai village to experience its culture. Your driver will then take you back to Arusha, where you will stay at the Moshono property. Dinner and breakfast will be provided.

KILIMANJARO / DOHA / SEATTLE

Day 08:

After breakfast, your driver will take you to the souvenir shops. Then, he will drive you to the airport to board your flight to Doha, where you will connect to your flight to Seattle.
