ARUSHA / TARANGIRE / NGORONGORO CRATER

ITINERARY

Day 01:

Depart from LAX to Doha with Qatar Airlines.

Day 02:

Arrive in Doha and board a flight to Kilimanjaro.

Day 03: KILIMANJARO / ARUSHA

After clearing immigration, Aisha and your tour guide will greet you and drive you to our Moshono property for relaxation and an overnight stay. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided.

Day 04: SERVAL PARK AND THE BASE OF MT.
KILIMANJARO

After breakfast, your tour guide will drive you to Serval Park, where you will enjoy lunch boxes. This park allows you to interact with trained wildlife; you can feed giraffes, zebras, and other animals.You will have the opportunity to photography them. Next, your guide will take you to the Marangu Gate, the access point to Mt. Kilimanjaro. You will also visit Ndoro Waterfall. Upon arrival at the Marangu Gate, local guides will assist you as you hike to the waterfall, which takes about an hour and a half. Afterward, your driver will take you back to our Moshono property for accommodation and dinner.

Day 05: CELEBRATION AT THE HOUSE

After breakfast, your tour guide will take you to the culture center and souvenir shops. In the afternoon, we will host a welcome celebration featuring Swahili cuisine, and traditional dancers will perform at our Moshono property.

Day 06: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, your driver will brief you on your safari trip and take you to Tarangire National Park for animal viewing with lunch boxes. The park is famous for its large elephant herds and enormous baobab trees, some of which may grow up to 30 meters tall and 11 meters wide, living over 600 to 1,000 years. During the dry season, the Tarangire River serves as the primary water source, providing opportunities to view many animals drinking nearby. You will stay at Tarangire Sopa Lodge or Tarangire Safari Lodge, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Day 7: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, your guide will take you for more game viewing in the park. Tarangire National Park is a birding paradise, home to over 500 species, and offers opportunities to see cheetahs, lions, elephants, zebras, wildebeests, and more. You will also have the chance to witness a magnificent sunset. Your accommodation will be at Tarangire Sopa Lodge or Tarangire Safari Lodge, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided.

Day 08: KARATU / NGORONGORO

After breakfast, enjoy a morning game viewing. Your guide will drive you to Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge, passing by Lake Manyara National Park and the East African Rift Valley escarpment, which provides a stunning backdrop. Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge is a luxurious lodge nestled in the Ngorongoro forest, offering incredible views and spacious rooms with a remarkable swimming pool. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served.

Day 09: NGORONGORO CRATER

After breakfast, your tour guide will descend 2,000 feet below the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive with lunch boxes. Ngorongoro Crater is located about 7,500 feet above sea level and is one of the seven wonders of Africa, recognized as a World Heritage Site. The crater hosts an impressive wildlife spectacle, home to over 25,000 animals, providing opportunities to spot the Big Five: lion, elephant, endangered black rhino, buffalo, and leopard, along with countless other species. You will have lunch at the picnic area before your guide takes you to a Maasai village to learn about their traditions and way of life. After the visit, your driver will take you back to Arusha for accommodation at our Moshono property.

Day 10: – ARUSHA / DOHA

After lunch, your guide will drive you to the airport for your flight to Doha with Qatar Airways or KLM to Amsterdam, where you will connect to your flight back home.

Day 11:

Enjoy your beach activities at the resort.

ZANZIBAR AIRPORT – STONE TOWN

Day 12:

After breakfast, you will be driven to Stone Town in Zanzibar.
Stone Town has many historical monuments.
The Old Fort is one of the famous monuments; it was built in the 16th century by the Portuguese.
The wonder house used to be the residence of the sultan of Oman.
Zanzibar was also known as a business center in East Africa.
You will also have the opportunity to buy Zanzibar souvenirs and visit the famous singer Freddy Mercury Muse Museum, born in Zanzibar.
Your driver will take you to the airport, where you will board a flight to Doha and then connect to your flight to Tanzania.
